Lower Lodge
Description
                                                            The Lower Lodge was originally the main accommodation building used by contractors when shearing the sheep. Because of the remoteness of the station this building needed to be put in place to accomodate  the large shearing gangs that used to stay overnight here.
Please note the Lower Lodge is unavailable during the months of September and October due to annual shearing.
A perfect base to access so many areas whether it be to relax, walk, tramp, ski, fish or boating on Lake Coleridge. Take a 30 minute stroll to the lake. 
The lodge has 7 bedrooms made up of 3 shared bathroom rooms and 2 ensuite rooms.
Sleeps total 16 people (11 in main building plus ensuite rooms).
Shared bathroom area has 3 showers, 3 toilets & 4 hand basins.
Fully equipped kitchen with 3 ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer.
A guest laundry is available with washing machine and tub.
Oil heaters are available for bedrooms.
Port-a-cot available upon request at time of booking.
The house also has no telephones, but there is one available in a nearby private home for emergencies.
Pillows are provided on all beds.
Glenthorne Station is a working station we cannot allow you to bring your pets.
No cell phone coverage.
