Description
Camp beside a sandy beach (rare in the Sounds) that is sheltered from the norwesterly wind. Enjoy short walks, picnicking and water-based activities. Boat access only to Kenepuru Sound.
There are 4 non-powered/tent sites. Camping fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include non-flush toilets and water from a tap (not treated - boil before use). Fires are not permitted at any time.
Dogs with a DOC permit only. Contact the relevant DOC office to obtain a permit. Phone DOC Picton, +64 3 520 3002. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
