Cookies Hut is a basic six-bunk hut in Hakatere Conservation Park. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream.
Cookies Hut is 4 hours 30 minutes from a small car park on Double Hill Run Road. Leave Mount Somers on Blackford Road, which becomes Double Hill Run Road.
