Charlie's Hut is a basic but romantic and idyllic hut, located on Hunter Valley Station in a backcountry location. It features 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5 in 1 double bedroom, 2 bunk beds & 1 single. Minimum 2 nights stay. Bookings are required. Hunter Valley Station offers access to both Lake Hawea shoreline and the renowned Hunter River, which boasts Rainbow and Brown Trout, as well as Quinnet Salmon. High clearance off road 4-wheel drive vehicle is necessary to travel to the Hunter River. Hunter Valley Station is conveniently situated off State Highway 6 signposted at entrance of Mead Road, drive this gravel road for 10kms from this turnoff to the main homestead.
