Tautuku Forest Cabins

Description
The Tautuku Forest Cabins are situated in the Lenz Reserve, a 550-hectare conservation land owned and managed by Forest & Bird.
Taukuku Forest Cabins comprise three cabins The Cottage (sleeps 8 10), Coutts Cabin (sleeps 4) and the A-frame (sleeps 2).
Each cabin is for the exclusive use of the party which has made the booking.
All cabins are self-contained, with electric cooking and heating.
Visitors need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow case, bathroom and dish towels, and rubbish sacks.
They are set within walking distance of beaches, wetlands and forest tracks.
Our cabins provide a great base for exploring the beautiful Catlins and observing the local native wildlife including sea lions, Hector's dolphins and hoiho (yellow-eyed penguins).
Please, note that dogs and other animals are prohibited.
