Come and visit our homestay and gardens at Saxon Lodge to enjoy "the organic experience" in the Waikato. Saxon Lodge is set on two acres just a few minutes from the centre of Hamilton. Hamilton International Airport is only a few minutes the other way. Our extensive gardens include areas of native trees and shrubs. There are examples of Kauri, Kahikatea, Rimu, Totara and many other New Zealand native specimens. There is also a corner - the Aussie Corner - that contains a number of Australian natives. Meals at Saxon Lodge include fresh eggs from "the girls" - our chooks, fruit and vegetables from our orchard and vegetable garden.
