Greenstone Retreat
Description
The retreat has a range of accommodation options. The "Grandmother" on the property is the self-contained Villa, dating back to 1881. Seriously spacious with 3 bedrooms, incorporating 3 queen beds and 2 singles, yet wonderfully cosy whilst retaining historical character. This holiday home boasts comfortable rooms, a wood burning fireplace, electric heaters, self contained full kitchen, inviting dining and lounge areas for everyone to relax. The bathroom includes both a shower and huge clawfoot bathtub.
The nest and family bunk rooms tucked behind the villa have access to everything you need for an effortless holiday: feed your team in the undercover outdoor kitchen, BBQ or picnic in the wild natural garden, entertain in the Den lounge, and enjoy the pristine bathrooms next door. Sleep well on comfortable beds, relax on bean bags, snuggle in with blankets and hot water bottles and connect via free wifi. Tea and coffee facilities, full bedding and towels provided.
The refurbished retro caravan Lolly makes for a cozy, romantic, low effort retreat experience with its own little garden.
There are flat separated unpowered, powered and tent sites scattered around the gardens. There is an undercover outdoor kitchen and BBQ for those not in the villa, and modern shared bathroom facilities, as well as a comfortable Den lounge with good free wifi, books and games.
Greenstone Retreat is an oasis for like-minded travellers where you can meet new people and find yourself outside of the demands of day-to-day life. The affordable pricing allows diverse people to invest their valuable time and attention into a longer stay, creating a cosy feeling of community. With the massages and yoga onsite being an extra bonus.
The gardens are great for exploring, including the yoga path, a trampoline, hammocks and painted stones hidden around the site. The property and staff are environmentally conscious, with full recycling and composting and cleaning products are natural and chemical free. Guests are encouraged to stay longer than one night to reduce their environmental impact, to reduce travel fatigue and relax to take in the beauty of the natural environment.
