Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFID SELF-CONTINED VEHICLES ONLY. Several Parking places next to the wharf and boat ramp, at the end of the dead end road. You may stay a maximum of 2 nights.
Just steps from the Parking spot you find toilets (open 24/7) and beginning of nice walk around the coast.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
