Whirinaki forest holidays & jailhouse Shuttles is situated on the eastern boundary of the Te Urewera National Park in Te Whaiti which is 5kms from the Minginui Village. We accommodate up to 18 guests in our three fully self-contained lodges. And there is plenty of outdoor space for tents and campervans pre-book is a must for these services. All of our lodges have fully equipped kitchen and dining areas. All bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. If youre looking for somewhere the whole family can enjoy then we are the accommodation solution for you. Children can safely go explore what the lodge has to offer while everyone else relax from that fast paced city life with a book or just enjoy listening to the various native birds that live in surrounding trees. We are located 10 minutes from the Minginui Village and 25 Minutes from Murupara Township. Facilities available at Whirinaki Forest Holidays: Microwave, coffee and tea, washing machine, clothes line, secure car parking, barbeque. We operate a shuttle service and transport in your own vehicle to all the tramping & walking tracks (trails) and mountain biking tracks in the Whirinaki Forest.
