Description

Located at the south-western coastal corner of the Waitakere Ranges, Whatip Lodge has been creating memories for more than a century. Staying at Whatip Lodge is a little like stepping back into a time when life was slower and unplugged. This paid campground offers compost toilets and cold showers. There are spacious grassed sites. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed. Campers need to take all rubbish with them. Dogs are not permitted. There are no Eftpos facility available. Payments can be made by direct credit, visiting an ASB, cheque or cash.
