Our peaceful campsite offers visitors the opportunity to stay overnight, and enjoy the nature reserve as the nocturnal creatures wake up. In this corner of New Zealand we have some of the clearest night skies in the world, completely unaffected by light pollution. In keeping with our environmentally sustainable ethos, we are an ecofriendly, low impact campsite. We have toilets available, but we do not provide showers. There is drinking water available in the toilet block and non-potable water at the boot cleaning station. Booking is not usually necessary, but if you want to make a reservation give us a call or email. Cyclists can be picked up or dropped off, from the Horeke Tavern for no extra charge, just give us a call. Dogs are permitted in the campground as long as they are kept under control at all times and all dog waste is removed. They are not permitted in the nature reserve.
