This campground is open to campervans and have both powered and non-powered sites, as well as open for campers with tents. Fees are as follows: Camping and Non-Powered Site: Adult - $13.50 Child 6-16yrs - $6.50 Child 0-5yrs - FREE Powered Site: Adult - $17 Adult - $13.50 Child 6-16yrs - $8.50 Child 0-5yrs - FREE New Zealand Motor Camp Association Fees Non-Powered Site: Adult - $10 Child - $5 Powered Site: Adult - $15 Child - $6 Te Roroa, the Department of Conservation, and Waka Kotahi wish to advise travellers that the small pull-over areas on State Highway 12 through the Waipoua Forest are for authorised contractors or emergency use only and under no circumstances available to use for overnight camping. Regular night-time security occurs within Waipoua and if people are found set up for overnight in places they should not be they will be directed towards the campground. We appreciate all of our manuhiri (visitors) taking this into consideration when visiting our area.
