Description

Located in the Hunua Ranges Regional Park, Hunua Upper Mangatawhiri campground is a tent only campground. Maximum stay 7 nights. Facilities include flush toilets and tap water, recommend boiling for 3 minutes before use. You must take all rubbish home with you. There are no bins or disposal facilities here. The bush clad ranges with streams, waterfalls and magnificent vistas offer a natural playground less than an hours drive from Auckland. The park is the largest native forest in the Auckland region.
