Description

Tuahu Station is situated in the Ruakituri Valley, off the inland route to Gisborne and 53km from Wairoa. We are situated right on one of the best trout/fly fishing rivers in the world. Coming into the valley is our local attraction, the Te Reinga Falls, or if you are a tramper visit the Waiting Falls up in the head waters of the Ruakturi Valley. Come join our farm activities or just relax in the surroundings of a North Island East Coast sheep and beef station, or take a days excursion to Lake Waikaremoana and take in the breathtaking views of the scenic route via the Ohuka Road. We have 3 types of accomodation, a fully furnished 3 bedroom cottage (sleeps 8), a backpackers lodge (sleeps 12) and a B&B. Camping is available for self-contained vehicles only.
