Description

When nearly at the end of Ramp Road, turn right at the signs, onto a track which runs past Coca Cola Lake, and out to the beach. Park anywhere in the sand dunes. This free campground, on DOC Controlled land, offers fishing and swimming. It is dog friendly. There are toilets and a cold shower on Council land, and a toilet by Coca Cola Lake, but please don't empty toilet cassettes into them!!! It is accessible to RVs, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs, but the access road can be quite rough, and can get boggy in the Winter.
