Situated on State Highway One, 22km South of Tokoroa and 44km North of Taupo, and 35km East of Rotorua, we are close to the Atiamuri Dam and Lake Ohakuri. If you are lucky enough to have a boat, you can access hot pools at the other side of the Lake. We are also at the very beginning of the Waikato River trail which takes you along the meandering and beautiful walkway close to the Waikato River. The hotel complex includes cafe, restaurant and bar, takeaway food and a liquor store, as well as a beautiful Lockwood style lodge with shared cooking facilities, lovely lounge with TV. (Of course, our friendly, helpful staff are happy to cook for you should you prefer to dine in!) The rooms can sleep up to 4 people with shared shower and toilet facilities. It is a country style hotel, with friendly personal service, and the locals create a warm, lovely atmosphere in the bar. With forest behind us, farmland surrounding us, and water not far away, you will find it a lovely weekend (or weekday) getaway! Powered and unpowered camping sites are also available. No fires.
