Te Muri Beach Campground (Foot or Boat Access)

Description
This grassed campground is located on the Te Muri Track, next to Te Muri Beach and south of the Te Muri Estuary. Accessible by boat or foot only. There is no vehicle access and sites are unpowered. Maximum stay 7 nights. Bookings are required.
Make your way on foot or by boat to this beachside campground on the east coast of Mahurangi West. Cross the Te Muri Estuary at low tide and continue along Te Muri beach foreshore to the campground. It is approximately 1.3km and will take 40-60 minutes.
The campground is not accessible from Sullivan's Bay after the main park gate closing time.
Facilities:
Two toilet blocks with two toilets in each.
Drinking (potable) bore water from taps along the campground beachfront - boil water for at least three minutes before using.
No bins or rubbish disposal facilities. Take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Fires prohibited at all times.
Dogs are prohibited at all times.
