Description
Tairua Campground is a family operated camping ground, located centrally in Tairua. The harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and playground are only a short stroll away and one of the Coromandel's finest surf beaches, is just down the road.
We have a variety of accommodation to suit your needs;Deluxe Cabins and standard Cabins, a Family Room and both Powered and Non Powered camping sites.
Most of our sites are 8 meters by 5 meters, so there is plenty of room for all your camping gear.
With our onsite facilities and everything you might need, a short stroll away, you may find you hardly need the car.
The Main Kitchen is equipped with dish washing sinks, gas and electric cook tops and electric ovens. Fridges, microwaves, toasters and a water boiler are provided.
The Water from the taps is town supply, tested and good for drinking.
The Guest Barbecue Area has gas plate grillers, BBQ's and a crayfish boiler available at no charge. Located opposite Main Kitchen.
Showers are located in the amenities block. There is a $2 coin charge for a 10 minute hot shower.
A Dump Station is available down the road on the corner of Ocean Beach Rd and Manaia Rd
Free wifi is available.
