FREEDOM CAMPING AREA CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 ----------- Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. Maximum 3 night stay in any 4 week consecutive period (beginning on the first night). Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Keep New Zealand Clean. Always use a public toilet or the one in your vehicle. Established public facilities at the TECT All Terrain Park include tracks for walking, mountain biking, equestrian and family focussed motorcycle tracks. There is a specific off-leash dog exercise area. A public electric BBQ is available outside the Arrival Centre, along with public toilets. There are also other toilet facilities scattered around the Park.
