Description

Freedom camping permitted in two sections. Section 1 - Self-contained vehicles only. Maximum 3 night stay in any 4 week consecutive period (beginning on the first night). Section 2 - Tenting allowed (permission required), walking access from main TECT car park. Maximum 3 night stay in any 4 week consecutive period (beginning on the first night). Ensure you are camped in the appropriate area. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Keep New Zealand clean, always use a public toilet or one in your vehicle. Established public facilities at the TECT All Terrain Park include tracks for walking, mountain biking, equestrian and family focussed motorcycle tracks. There is a specific off-leash dog exercise area A public electric BBQ is available outside the Arrival Centre, along with public toilets. There are also other toilet facilities scattered around the Park.
