Parking is available on tarseal outside of our barn or, when weather allows, vehicles can park on the grass at the riding arena for a nicer view. Water can be accessed from a water tank by arrangement. Our location is only 10mins from SH1 and 15mins from SH2. We are also located off Waikare Road which is a signposted 'scenic route' that goes around Lake Waikare. The Te Kauwhata township has a New World, library, park, fuel station and tavern for all your needs. Directions: From SH1 take the Te Kauwhata exit and remain on this road, passing through the Te Kauwhata Township and out the other side. Continue on this road for approx 8km. You will come along a straight, over a tiny bridge and up a slight rise. At the top of the rise turn right on to Waikare Road. Follow Waikare Road for approx 2km before turning on to the first road on the right (Ruahine Road). The property is the first on the left and the riding arena is visible as you pull in.
