Rockslide Hut

Description
This is a basic four-bunk hut located in Ruahine Forest Park in the Hawke's Bay region. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream.
Rockslide Hut is largely isolated from other tracks and huts. This simple biv was built in 1960 by the New Zealand Forest Service and was upgraded in 1990. Situated by the Apias Stream at an altitude of 750m, the bivouc is surrounded by beech forest and relatively sheltered.
