Description

Pourerere Beach freedom camping (Northern end of beach). All camping styles welcome in the numbered sites along the beachfront. Tents, Car Campers, Vans and RVs. Self and Non Self Contained are welcome at this Central Hawkes Bay District Freedom Camping site. No permit required: Outside the restricted period of 17 December 2021 February 2022. Permit Required 17 December - February: Council in association with the 'Pourerere Beach Camping Committee' uses a system of 'Pre-Registration Permits' for campers wishing to use designated 'Beach Camping' sites in public areas at Pourerere Beach over the summer camping period.
