The Poroti Tavern is a great Country Pub just 15 minutes northwest of Whangarei. Just 7.5km down Mangakahia Road, the Poroti Tavern is a historical pub, family owned and operated for a warm and friendly atmosphere. Newly renovated, you'll find a comfortable place to relax. French doors open to a deck area, and we often host popular bands. Our recently refurbished Sports Bar has pool tables and pokie machines, and a large comfortable area to relax. Opening hours: Monday: Closed Tuesdays to Sundays: 12 noon Overnight parking is permitted in self-contained vehicles only. Public toilets are available 300m down the road towards Whanarei. No BYO.
