Omaka Lodge

Description
Located only 7kms from the friendly township of Taumarunui, down the incredible Forgotten World Highway, lies Omaka Lodge, a boutique bed & breakfast venue in the heart of New Zealands Forgotten World.
More than just a place to stay, youll find its the little things which make the difference and help set Omaka Lodge apart. We have a selection of accommodation options on offer, ranging from a luxurious self-contained loft apartment to private rooms and camper van sites, all offering lovely views over the garden and surrounding countryside.
There are three metalled sites suitable for small to medium campervans, situated under mature trees with peaceful views of the countryside and direct garden access.
A central tap offers fresh potable water supplied from a natural spring a short distance away. The water is filtered and UV treated for safety. Please note, we do not have power supply or dumping facilities available. Due to access and the surrounding trees, the sites are not suitable for large vehicles such as buses or house-trucks.
Site dimensions are as follows:
Ginkgo 10 metres long and 3 metres wide at the entrance (increasing to 6 metres wide at the far end); vehicle access from one end.
Liquidambar 9 metres long and 4 metres wide; vehicle access from one end.
Golden Elm 8 metres long and 4 metres wide; vehicle access from one side.
Sites include access to Omaka Lodge grounds, tennis court and swimming pool. No bathroom/toilet, and excludes access to house.
