Description

Welcome to our RV Park, nestled in the middle of a 400ha commercial cattle farm, in the heartland of the Bay of Islands. Our Park sits next to the the Peka Peka stream, sheltered by a stand of impressive gum trees. To find us, google map 7491 SH1 Ohaeawai, come up the drive to a set of double wooden gates. Give me a call on 050832769255 (FARMWALK). There is purpose built road that will take you about 2km onto the farm to the RV Park. There is a fresh water filtered tank you can use to top up your water or for cooking and a toilet (longdrop) next to the park if you do not have a self contained facility. Once there the first thing you will notice is the quiet, then the beauty of the spot we have selected as the Parkup. There are 2 picnic tables available to use as well. Once settled in there are beautiful walks available on the farm, closest to you is the TupeTupe Falls about 500m from where you are parked. At the Falls there is a viewing platform of the Falls and more picnic tables to enjoy. I do recommend hugging one of the huge Puriri trees above the falls, close your eyes, sink into the tree and try and hear 3 different sounds. There is another walk, about 5km round trip, following the road down to the amazing Te Rua-Hoanga Pa. Dog/Pet Friendly (dogs walked on leash). Large vehicle access.
