Description

This is a standard four-bunk hut in the Ruahine Forest Park maintained by the Palmerston North Tramping and Mountaineering Club. Fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include open fire heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. Donations are welcome and suggested to be a minimum of $5 a night. Alternatively DOC Hut tickets are accepted as DOC still supplies the water proof, fire proof matteresses.
