Mangaweka Campground provides budget camping options in a open plan riverside setting. The campground is set out over three levels, the top level has powered sites available and the second and third level are non powered only. There are no lines, no numbers allocating campsites. The nature of these camping grounds means that booking a site is not available. First in first served! There is almost always space for non powered camping, however, on occasion powered sites can be taken up. If you require a guaranteed Powered Site then Book at Awastone. Basic ablutions are available, flush toilets and pay showers. The 'Cookhouse' is a small shelter that has a bench and sink for your use, no stoves, ovens or fridges.
