MANGATORO SCENIC RESERVE
This reserve is located on Ngapaeruru Road, 15km east of Dannevirke. You'll find bush walks and swimming holes here. Look out for the giant Ttara, said to be one of the largest in New Zealand. This is a nice walk through an impressive stand of native trees.
No toilets here, self contained camping only.
