Description
Camp at the southern end of the freshwater lake, and walk to Table Mountain Trig for views of inland Kaweka, Maungaharuru Range and coastal Hawke's Bay.
Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking and sailing on the lake. Camping in tents is allowed.
Note: There are two campsites in this area. This one, near the entrance is a DOC Campsite. Further along the road, over the causeway on the South Eastern edge of the lake is the Hawkes Bay Regional Council site.
