Camp in an open grassy area alongside the Kaniwhaniwha Stream. Walk or mountain bike the Nikau Walk to this campsite. No vehicle access.
There are 24 non-powered/tent sites. Camping is free. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
There are opportunities for swimming in Kaniwhaniwha Stream.
Explore the Kaniwhaniwha Caves, or do a longer tramp to a Kahikatea tree or Pirongia summit.
No dogs.
