Description
The Hauraki Rail Trail terminus is on East Coast Road, just north of the Kaiaua township. Freedom camping is restricted to designated carparks. Power is NOT available.
Freedom camping is permitted for a maximum two-night stay in any calendar month.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
The public toilet is next to the playground , 200 m. away from the freedom camping area.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
