Description

This is a standard DOC campsite in the Wellington region. Camp beside Catchpool Stream close to walks in the Orongorongo Valley. This paid campground offers swimming, toilets, cold showers and drinking water. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to bikes, motorbikes (camping), RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed. Note: For safety and security the gate to Catchpool valley is open during summer daylight savings 6 am 8 pm. In winter 6 am 6 pm. The site is open 24/7 but access by vehicle is restricted to the hours above.
