Bushy Park Homestead in Wanganui is a Category One heritage building and has been preserved very much in its original state. As guests in our Bed and Breakfast, you will live as the guests of the past did, with spacious rooms and delicious home style cooking. And for families we have cabin style accommodation and both powered and non-powered campsites. Bushy Park offers its guests a stunningly beautiful MOTORHOME ONLY campsite consisting of two powered berths and plenty of non-powered sites (NO TENTS). Tranquil and secluded, you can enjoy the beautiful forest right outside the front door while remaining just a short walk away from the historic homestead bed and breakfast. Wake to the dawn chorus of the many occupants of the native bird sanctuary, and spend your days hiking along the many bushwalks through the native woodland. We cannot allow pets at Bushy Park as this is a protected and predator-free birdlife sanctuary.
