Description

Set adjacent to two hectares of the beautiful award winning Aramatai Garden on a working sheep and beef farm. Although close to State Highway 4, it is tranquil and peaceful with wonderful panoramic rural views. The garden is open for the public to view for a small charge of $5, or take a 30 minute walk to a magnificent private hidden waterfall. Other attractions nearby include a walkway to the Omaru Falls, or the Mapara Conservation Reserve, home of the endangered bird, the Kokako. The garden offers low cost camping for campervans, caravans and tents. Toilet available but no showers.
